Description

Each year, Rosenbach staff and Delancey Society members journey to New York to experience the International Antiquarian Book Fair, visit the city’s cultural institutions, and get up close and personal with a trove of fascinating rare books, maps, illuminated manuscripts, fine bindings, illustrations, historical documents, and so much more.

This year, we will kick off the weekend on Friday, May 1 with a private viewing of selections from The Museum of Modern Art’s (MoMA) collection of illustrated books with Curator Starr Figura, followed by a group dinner at the University Club. On Saturday, May 2, we will enjoy brunch, followed by a curated tour of the Book Fair with members of the Rosenbach’s Department of Collections Engagement, stopping at the booths of leading booksellers for insights into the past, present, and future book trade.
