Description

Explore some of the first books printed in Hebrew and dating to the 15th century. We'll examine physical elements, such as binding, materials, fonts, and layout, learning what they can tell us about early printing practices, historical trends, and contemporaneous cross-cultural interactions that were often both challenging and hopeful.  Whether you are a reader of Hebrew or not, you can engage with these volumes and learn about early works of philosophy, literature, and faith.

No experience in reading Hebrew is required for this tour.
