The Wild Things Whirligig!

Go wild at the Rosenbach with an interactive, imaginative opera filled with timeless melodies and laugh-out-loud fun! Performed at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m both days, the work was created by Karen Saillant, the Artistic Director at the International Opera Theater. The story weaves together characters from Sendak’s work with music by masters who inspired him, like Mozart!

Free for members! All activities are included in general admission to the museum. Admission to the Whirligig is free, but tickets are required. Tickets for the performance will be available on a first-come, first-served basis the day of each performance.
