Robert Burns Night

A celebration with live music and readings
Friday, January 25, 2013 - 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Take part in a 200-year tradition by joining us to celebrate Scotland’s most-loved bard, Robert Burns! This festive evening will offer us the chance to revel in Burns works in all forms:

  • Listen to readings of Burns poetry (in Scots!) performed by participants in the Rosenbach’s Reading Group.
  • Hear songs by a bagpipe and voice duo Susan and Donald Simon, as they perform Burns classics such as Scots Wa Hae and A Man’s a Man for A’ That.
  • Learn about the Rosenbach’s collection of 135 autograph poems, letters and early printed editions of Burns’ works—the largest Burns collection anywhere.

Refreshments will be served.
