Admission
House Tours
Guided tours of the historic Rosenbach house at 2010 Delancey Place
are scheduled on the hour from 10am to 4pm, with an additional 6:30pm
tour on Wednesdays.*
*Please note, due to a private event on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, the final Historic House Tour of the day will be at 4pm. Visitors arriving after 4pm are welcome to tour the exhibition There's A Mystery There: Sendak on Sendak.
Groups of 10 or more must make a reservation for a group tour. For group tour information, click here.
Research Appointments
The Library collections are open to researchers by appointment. Hours
of access vary from regular museum hours. Visit our Research

Museum Store
The Rosenbach's museum shop
offers a variety of items relating to the collections--everything from
signed first editions of Maurice Sendak books, to scholarly editions
of Ulysses, to cards printed with illustrations from Alice
in Wonderland. The shop is open during regular museum hours and is also open on Mondays, when the museum is closed.
Items can be ordered by phone, letter, email,
or online.
Policies
In order to protect the Rosenbach collections and create a safe environment for all visitors, please observe the following policies:
- Photography is not allowed in the museum.
- Food and drink are not allowed in the galleries.
- All bags and personal items must be stowed in lockers, which are available in the coatroom. Smaller bags may be carried.
- Children 5 and under must be attended by an adult at all times. Strollers are not permitted in any of the museum galleries.
- Please be considerate when using cell phones. Please silence the ringer or turn off your phone before entering the galleries or at the start of your tour.
- The use of pens is not permitted in the museum; only pencils may be used for taking notes or sketching.
