Parking:

Parking is occasionally available on the street, and is free for two hours. There are also several parking garages within a few blocks:

Discounted parking is available at 5-Star Parking at 2031 Lombard Street (parking ticket must be validated at the Rosenbach to receive discount; offer not valid for early bird rate).

Other garages are located on 20th Street (e.g., turn left from Delancey onto 20th Street and go past two traffic lights; there are parking lots on both sides of the street just before the third traffic light at Walnut Street).

NJ Transit

Directions from NYC and all points north:

• From New York City, cross the George Washington Bridge (or the Holland Tunnel or the Lincoln Tunnel, as preferred) and follow signs to the New Jersey Turnpike.
• Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 4 ("Camden/Philadelphia")
• Follow Rte. 73 North ("Ben Franklin Bridge") for 2 miles
• Follow Rte. 38 West ("Ben Franklin Bridge") for 5 miles
• Rte. 38 merges into Rte. 30 West for another 2 miles
• Follow Rte. 676 West ("Ben Franklin Bridge") for 1 mile
• Cross the Ben Franklin Bridge ($3 toll one-way)
• Follow Rte. 676 West for about 1 mile to the exit at 22nd Street ("Museum Area/Parkway"). The exit comes up quickly after an underpass and is the first exit after the 15th Street exit.
• At stop sign at end of ramp, make a right onto 22nd Street.
• At 1st traffic light, make a right onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
• At 1st traffic light, make a right onto 21st Street from the Parkway.
• Follow 21st Street, past Race, Arch, Market, Chestnut, Walnut, Locust, and Spruce Streets.
• Turn left onto Delancey Place after Spruce Street (Delancey is the second small street after the light).
• The museum is 3/4 of a block down on the right at 2008-2010 DeLancey Place.

Directions from all points south:

• Take 95 North to 676 West
• Follow signs toward Center City to Ben Franklin Parkway/Art Museum exit (one after Broad Street/15th Street exit)
• At stop sign at end of ramp, make a right onto 22nd Street.
• At 1st traffic light, make a right onto the Parkway.
• At 1st traffic light, make a right onto 21st Street from the Parkway.
• Follow 21st Street, past Race, Arch, Market, Chestnut, Walnut, Locust, and Spruce Streets.
• Turn left onto Delancey Place after Spruce Street (Delancey is the second small street after the light).
• The museum is 3/4 of a block down on the right at 2008-2010 DeLancey Place.

Directions from west of Philadelphia:

• Take 76 East to 676 East towards Center City
• Exit at 23rd Street/Ben Franklin Parkway (1st exit on 676)
• Pass the 1st light, and take a right at the 2nd light onto 21st Street
• Stay on 21st Street, past Market, Chestnut, Walnut, and Spruce
• After Spruce, take a left onto DeLancey Place
• The museum is 3/4 of a block down on the right at 2008-2010 DeLancey Place.
