ShakespearFolio.jpg The Norton Facsimile of The First Folio of Shakespeare
$148.50
This Facsimile of the first Folio of Shakespeare is based on the Folios in the Folger Shakespeare Library Collection. Dr. Rosenbach helped the Folger family to build this collection of Shakespeare’s work, which they then donated, to the Library of Congress. This second edition, hard cover fine printed edition includes a slipcase and ribbon page marker. Charlton Hinman introduces the work by giving the background history on the printing and proofing, and the value and authority of the text in the First Folio. Peter W. M. Blayney follows by outlining the history of the Folio's publishers and the players’ manuscripts. 928 Pages.

Shakespearethe Man.jpg William Shakespeare, The Man Behind the Genius, a Biography written by Anthony Holden
$29.95
Generations have speculated about the man behind the genius, and yet William Shakespeare remains a stubbornly elusive character. In this absorbing new biography, the Bard's pursuers gain some ground. Holden maintains that we already know more about the life of Shakespeare than that of almost any of his literary contemporaries, and in shifting fact from legend, he creates a fresh, vivid portrait of the greatest writer the world has ever known.
