A three volume, hardcover, with slip-case, facsimile copy of the only complete, handwritten manuscript of James Joyce's Ulysses. Three volumes. Quarto. Critical introduction by Harry Levin. Bibliographical preface by Clive Driver. The first two volumes comprise the facsimile manuscript, while the third contains a comparison of the manuscript and the first printings, annotated by Clive Driver. Ulysses is one of the most influential novels of the twentieth century, and this facsimile is a must-have for any Joyce aficionado or scholar.

These volumes were published in association with the Philip H. &. A.S.W. Rosenbach Foundation, Philadelphia. New York: Octagon Books (1975). This item comes new, still shrink-wrapped and in original shipping boxes.

At once a brilliant collage of images and text from the museum's collection and a narrative dealing with sex, gender, and age, Jaynes' work is an extraordinary new perspective on the Rosenbach. Published by the Rosenbach and the Borowsky Center at University of the Arts, the 36-page book was printed in an edition of 500, of which 350 have been numbered and are available for sale. The sending, receiving and collecting of postcards was an essential part of life in Edwardian Dublin. In an age of few private telephones, the postcard was a popular and reliable form of communication - in Dublin there were six mail deliveries a day and one on Sunday. Niall Murphy is an antiquarian, book and ephemera dealer, whose interest in Joyce led him to collect these postcards over a period of twenty-five years. He published this book along with the National Library of Ireland in celebration of the centenary of Bloomsday, it includes over 250 postcards all of them posted in the Dublin area during 1904, four of them sent on the 16th of June.
