The Rosenbach makes its library and fine and decorative arts collections available to all interested researchers by prior appointment. Use of collection objects is subject to carefully observed conservation and security measures designed to balance the needs of the researcher with the protection of the materials. There is no fee for use of the collections, however, a fee may apply for additional services, such as facsimile or photography requests.

Research appointments should be made by contacting the Library staff in advance of arrival; a week's notice is preferred.

Snow Closing Policy: The Rosenbach will close for snow or other inclement weather conditions on days when the Philadelphia parochial school system does so. Philadelphia-area radio station KYW Newsradio (1060) makes comprehensive school closing announcements. Information about school closings is also available on KYW's website. If snow is forecast on the day of your scheduled appointment, please consult KYW about school closings.
