Inquiring Minds

Rosenbach Researchers Report Back
On display
Wednesday, November 23, 2011 - Sunday, March 25, 2012

Inquiring Minds is the first of its kind: an exhibition that shows a cross-section of our researchers’ projects from concept to completion.

Each year, hundreds of researchers make use of the Rosenbach’s collections. You’ll see how their study of commonplace books, portrait miniatures, Sendak drawings, book bindings, colonial maps, oil portraits, and tri-corner hats has turned into such varied projects as scholarly books, blogs, documentary videos, novels, fashion designs, artwork, databases, and musical compositions. Hear from our researchers and learn how you can use the museum’s collections for your own explorations.
