A joint opening event for the Rosenbach’s two newest exhibitions;
Too Many Thoughts to Chew: A Sendak Stew, an exhibition about food eating, and being eaten in the illustrations of Maurice Sendak. A Sendak Stew presents 40 original Sendak illustrations that show how food brings families together, helps kids forge new friendships, and nourishes us emotionally and intellectually.
Moore Adventures in Wonderland is a contemporary art installation of original work by Artist –in-Residence, Sue Johnson that uncovers the unexpected connections between Lewis Carroll (1832-1898), famed author of Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland, and modernist poet Marianne Moore (1887-1972).
