About the Curator: Chicken Soup with Rice was one of Travelling Exhibition Coordinator Patrick Rodgers most cherished books as a child, and like its author, Maurice Sendak, he grew into a book, music, art and soup-lover. Patrick has worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Bucks County Historical Society, the Scott County Historical Society in Shakopee, MN, and several other museums around the country and in Canada, serving in both curatorial and educational positions. He wholeheartedly embraces the Rosenbach’s goals of being playful and creative with collections. His favorite author is Umberto Eco.
