The Rosenbach makes its library and fine and decorative arts collections available to all interested researchers by prior appointment. Use of collection objects is subject to carefully observed conservation and security measures designed to balance the needs of the researcher with the protection of the materials. There is no fee for use of the collections, however, a fee may apply for additional services, such as facsimile or photography requests.

Research appointments should be made by contacting the Library staff in advance of arrival; a week's notice is preferred.

The staff also welcomes and answers brief inquiries from off-site researchers by phone, mail, email, and fax. Please call 215.732.1600, x115 for information and appointments, submit your inquiry online, or fax to 215.545.7529.
