Coming soon in 2010!
On this very first weekend of spring join us in celebrating Sendak with our annual festival for kids of all ages, Sendak in Spring! Sendak loves books, the Rosenbach loves books, and you do too, right? Drop-in Activities Spend an afternoon with your family taking part in a variety of drop-in activities geared toward kids of all ages. Philadelphia’s favorite storyteller Linda Goss will lead energetic call-and-response storytelling sessions. Learn how to make a three-dimensional book with book artist Jude Robison. Pick up a family guide and explore the exhibition There's a Mystery There: Sendak on Sendak. If you need a break from the action, settle down with a snack and a copy of your favorite Sendak book or discover a new favorite! And make sure you save time to get your Beverly Billingsly books signed by the author and illustrator, Alexander Stadler.
Seating is limited. To ensure your seats, you may pick up tickets at the Rosenbach beginning date TBA. For advance ticket pickups, we ask that you pay museum admission for your family at that time. Tickets will also be available on event days. We are not able to accept ticket orders over the phone. If you have any questions, please contact Emilie Parker, Director of Education, at 215.732.1600, ext. 120, or email eparker@rosenbach.org. Listen to the Wild Things Workshop podcast!
