Thursdays: 10/1, 11/12, 12/3, 1/7, 2/4, 3/4, 4/1, 5/6 & 6/3 from 6:00-8:00 pm
The Ulysses reading group at the Rosenbach is a fun and painless way to read (and finish!) James Joyce's masterpiece. Led by Dr. Paul Saint-Amour, Professor of English at the University of Pennsylvania, the course incorporates a chapter-by-chapter discussion of the text, with detours into Joyce’s personal life and artistic method. $275 for members, $320 for non-members

Moby-Dick, by Herman Melville
Wednesdays: 10/14, 10/28, 11/4, 11/18, 12/2, 12/16 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
This reading group offers a chance to grapple with Herman Melville’s classic tale from the sea. Led by Dr. Peter Norberg of Saint Joseph’s University, the group will chart a passage through Moby-Dick, taking bearings from his life and career and from the novel’s significance in American literary culture. $210 for members, $255 for non-members.
